repurpose everything. even your story

Hey friends, I’m Brittney — and around here, we believe nothing is ever too far gone to be repurposed. Not a chair. Not a thrifted vase. Not a season of life. And definitely not a woman.
For over 20 years, I worked in the beauty industry, building a career I thought would be my forever. However, during a season of unexpected transition, God began nudging my heart in a new direction. At first, I didn’t fully understand where He was leading, but little by little, I started to see the beauty in things others considered worthless. What the world saw as waste, I began to see as potential — both in objects and in myself.
That’s how Totally Repurposed was born — not just as a blog, but as a reflection of the way God takes broken or overlooked things and turns them into something useful, beautiful, and full of purpose.
As I embraced this shift, I found myself drawn to creative projects that made use of what I already had. Over time, repurposing became more than just a hobby — it became a way of life. In today’s world, where waste is the norm and costs are constantly rising, being resourceful isn’t just practical — it’s powerful. It’s a way of honoring what we’ve been given and choosing intentional living over chaotic consumption.
Here, I share a blend of practical DIYs, low-waste lifestyle ideas, and faith-filled encouragement — all rooted in the belief that when we put God first and steward what we have well, everything changes.
So whether you’re here for the faith, the design tips, or just some good old creative inspiration, welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s repurpose what we have, and rediscover what matters — together.
