MAKE YOUR OWN “COMMISSIONED ART” BE YOUR OWN ARTIST!

MAKING MY OWN COMMISSIONED ART
Art has always been a passion of mine, from my childhood all the way through high school. Even as a kid, I knew I wanted to pursue something creative in the art world. The desire to make and create has always been a part of who I am.
OF COURSE I TOOK MANY YEARS OF VARIOUS ART CLASSES AND MADE MANY UH ART PROJECTS, BUT I never quite achieved my dream of creating art I REALLY ENJOYED—until now. Let’s just say practicality held me back all those years ago. But since my journey of repurposing, God has opened a door for me to finally do what He created me to do. And painting my own artwork is one of those things!
Now, let me be real with you: I’m no Michelangelo. But that’s the beauty of it—anyone can create art like I do! I lean toward simple, practical, minimalistic styles, which makes my art feel more accessible and subjective. Honestly, if you like it, that’s all that matters!
THE IDEA’S THE SAME

This particular piece was made for my downstairs bathroom wall. It was a quick project I needed to finish before guests arrived, so I didn’t have a ton of time to get super creative. Instead, I pulled inspiration from a piece I had saved, mainly because of its color palette. I did end up changing the colors to fit my space, but the idea was the same—I just gave it my own twist!
THE FINISHING T0UCHES

Yes, I chose to frame my art! I feel it gives canvas pieces a polished, finished look. Framing your own canvas is actually much easier than you might think!
