Totally 80’s Pool Playlist

When I was a kid growing up in the 80s, I remember my mom always taking us to THE neighborhood pool, Country Aire. We’d spend entire days there, soaking up the warm summer sun(BEFORE THE SUN WAS BAD). GOGGLES AND NOSE PLUGS IN PLACE (YES, I WAS ONE OF THOSE KIDS), AND OF COURSE, some of the most iconic music of that era playing through the overhead speakers! OUR POOL WAS CRUNK!

THE 80’S was definitely a memorable time to grow up. Life felt simpler then.

We’d play tag in the shallow end for hours, dare each other to run past the lifeguard when they weren’t looking, and I’d always wonder if today would be the day I finally had the guts to jump off the high dive.

For me, those memories are forever wrapped in the sound of a great 80s summer song.

Even now, whenever we’re laying out by the pool, music is a must. It’s powerful—it can resurrect old emotions, transport you back in time, and instantly create a vibe.
